Tenerife - Staff Review

In November 2025, I had the pleasure of visiting Tenerife for our annual managers conference. We stayed at the Iberostar Selection Sábila, a 5-star adults-only hotel perfectly located in the heart of Costa Adeje with direct access to the beachfront promenade filled with shops, bars and restaurants - Abi Horsfall – Branch Manager, Althams Travel Littleborough

 

 

 

The hotel delivered an exceptional experience. The food was some of the best I’ve had at an all-inclusive resort, with an impressive variety at every meal. I also enjoyed stopping by the Star Café each day for a coffee and pastry. Rooms and facilities were modern, stylish and spotlessly clean, and the sunbed reservation system was a great touch. Staff were warm, friendly and always willing to help.

We stayed in Star Prestige, which added fantastic extras: access to a private lounge with an open bar, a stunning terrace with an infinity pool, pillow choices, late checkout (subject to availability), and in-room perks like daily coffee capsules and a stocked minibar on arrival.

I also need to highlight the fabulous luxury catamaran cruise we experienced. We were lucky enough to enjoy whale watching, which was absolutely magical, and a refreshing dip in the beautiful blue waters. This is an absolute must-do if you’re visiting Costa Adeje.

Overall, I’d highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Sábila for its food, location, facilities—and the incredible sunsets.
